F a c e -- Immediately after the shower, when my shin is still wet and dewy, I scoop a pea sized amount of balm into my hand and massage it into my face, making sure to really put some pressure into the lymphatic points in a circular motion. This is my daily absolute must-have! Especially now that the heat is on and the cold winds are blowing. It offers an effective moisture barrier so I can lock in some of that hydration from the shower but also retain some from the water I am drinking, which is a lot these days.
L i p s -- I always have at least one 1oz tube of Baby Balm on me. I find it gets removed from my bag subconsciously, as if I have a natural reflex to apply balm to my lips. I come from a long line of lip-pickers, so this has become my first defense: if my lips are hydrated and soft - I don't pick!
B o d y -- I have psoriatic arthritis, which is basically the fabulous combination of psoriasis and arthritis. Lucky me :) It manifests itself in relatively constant pain in my wrists but also in a couple of very dry skin spots on my body, mostly legs that subside and worsen through out the year. Winter is the worst, of course. The only natural relief I have found is the Baby Balm. It really does help with cracked and itchy skin. I do not like to use steroids every day and that seems to be the only medical answer to my P.A. (psoriatic arthritis).
B u m s / B a b y -- I have been using this balm on my three year old daughter since I made it. It was a combo creation: when she was born her skin was so enraged by the world she was born into- whether due to diaper or simply adjusting to the air- this became our go to. In the winter she gets really dry under arms and legs so I keep a big jar of it right next to her dresser so I can lather her up after the bath.
We love it for us and our families and hope you do too!
